Cancún is more than spring break and all-inclusive resorts (though those can be fun too). Spend your days exploring cenotes, local taco spots, or catching golden hour by the Caribbean Sea. Whether you’re there to party or unplug, Cancún’s got options.

I stayed at the Hyatt vivid Grand Island resort in Cancun. Super aesthetically pleasing. The food was pretty decent. The Mediterranean restaurant had an amazing short rib and salmon. It’s definitely a very calm hotel and not a party vibe. I recommend upgrading to the vantage club as the rooftop pool is so nice along with the premium drinks (don julio). There were a lot of Black people at the resort but Wasn’t the vibe where everyone was friends with each other…
Cancun is great for a quick weekend getaway or full week stay! I can’t recommend enough heading to “Taboo Cancún” the food was AMAZING, service top tier, and they had super fun live entertainment!
I stayed at the Riu Palace Kukulkan! I would highly recommend! It’s super affordable and provides all inclusive food and drinks. The pools were also very nice, well kept and the rooms provide beach views! They also provide shuttles to nearby riu hotels for pool parties that were really fun!
