Olá Porto! Along the Douro River, you’ll find narrow streets, tiled buildings, and views that stretch for miles. The city is known for its port wine, but there’s so much more to explore, like markets, bridges, and historic neighborhoods.

Porto was a gorgeous city, we took the train from Lisbon and stayed for 3 days but personally I felt like two probably would have been enough.
Porto is perfect for wine lovers and I would recommend doing a Port wine tour in the Douro Valley. Also, watching the sunset from Jardim do Morro was sooo beautiful but definitely try to get there early to get a spot (pro tip: bring some snacks and wine with you too!)
Porto was OK, in my opinion. If you’re a wine lover you’re better off staying in Douro Valley and booking a tasting at different vineyards yourself. The Get Your Guide tours from Porto to Douro are just way too short and you don’t get to taste that much wine.
