Cape Town is the most beautiful place I’ve visited! It has beaches, mountains, deserts, cityscapes, and so much more. Reminds me of an African California! Plenty of night life, fine dining, cultural excursions, and outdoorsy activities to choose from. The city is also VERY queer friendly which is unique in Africa! I would absolutely recommend taking a cable car up to Table Mountain for the views, Stellenbosch for wine tasting, and checking out a safari for an incredible nightlife experience. Something that surprised me is there are less black people in Cape Town than other parts of SA like Johannesburg. I also felt that I was treated better as an American than a Nigerian. Finally, I would be mindful of theft as pick pocketing is kinda common in Cape Town.
