I visited Mambo, which is an African owned restaurant on Green Street, food is fantastic and the service is even better! Highly recommend if you’re looking for west African cuisine in Lisbon
Dining Dos:
Avoid Lust in Rio nightclub!! My friend and I went with two (white) French girls who we met while bar hopping on Pink Street. We all tried to go to Lust in Rio, and the bouncer would not speak or make eye contact with me and my friend. He proceeded to let a group of about 10 white men in who were standing behind us. The girls we were with asked multiple workers why they wouldn’t let us in, and the only answer they gave was that the two French girls could come in but my friend and I could not. I had never experienced such blatant racism and it was a terrible experience. Stay away from this bar!!
If you are looking to go out Coyote was a fun bar on Pink Street and there was another street of bars by the water in the Misericórdia neighborhood in Lisbon.
The streets are very steep and slippery! I would recommend comfortable shoes with a bit of a grip.
Lisboa is amazing and they’ve beautiful maintained their authenticity amidst all of the tourists.
Book a sunset cruise via GetYourGuide (Activity Provider: Stern Wind Cruises Lda)! It was great vibes, great drinks and great music!
My friend and I stayed at the Moxy! It was close to the airport but about a 15 min uber ride to the city. Ubers were really affordable so it worked out great. It’s also right across the street from a major train station that you can take to other cities in Portugal (Like Porto) as well as a big local mall with cute shops.
